This season IPL Auction Was Fresh, But each team were allowed to retain only 4 players from previous season.



Two New teams where also added this time Kochi And pune.. which makes
total of 10 teams ( all who interested in cricket would be knowing other
8 teams 8-) )

This season each team has 9 million purse for buying players i.e. for
buying player they have 9 million and if the team has retained 4 players
- 4.5 million will be deducted from there purse, if 2 players - 3.1
million will be deducted from there purse and if 1 player - 1.8 million
will be deducted from there purse

Rajasthan royals were allowed to spend 7 million only due to there some problem

Chennai Retained there 4 players ( m.s.dhoni, s.raina, a.morkel and
m.vijay) , delhi retained only 1 payer (v.sehwag) , rajasthan royals
retained 2 players ( s.warne and s.watson) , mumbai indians also
retained there max.(4) players ( s.tendulkar, h.singh, k.pollard,
l.malinga)

Each Team will play total of 14 league matches ( 7 away 7 home)

Each team will against 9 teams in this they will play 5 teams tiwce and 4 teams once..

Each team can only has squad of 30 players and in which in the playing
11 there should be 7 indian players and 4 overseas players


IPL 2011 Will Start just after 5 days of world cups ends and wc will end on 2 april

Money Which Team Has Left Would Be Filled By uncapped INDIAN and Overseas players
